Welcome to my Life!
YES!! THERE ARE ENTRIES YOU HAVE TO BE REGISTERED TO READ.
Think "Friends Only" on MySpace :P

I know: I've had roughly a BAJILLION blogs in the last 10 years. Being a Diary Personality comes with it's responsibilities, one of which being keeping up with the latest technology allowing the MOST spread of my life into the four corners of the internet.

A little bit on how to navigate this blog:
For certain posts about my life one would need to be Logged In to read. I like to control WHO is viewing my the intimate details of my life you see. AND in this day and age you cannot be too careful about just who you're telling about that trip you're taking in the future. You could end up with unexpected tagalongs.

Otherwise, enjoy sticking your nose into my life. Be aware however that I keep this blog for my OWN posterity. All of my old blogs are being BackLogged and Categorized into it. Should be a very interested project for me :)

NEWS!!
Mar26-2008: I have my PO box out here in NC now :P I'll drop it in a Registered Only Post under this one, or you can just txt me to get it ^_^ SMOOCH.

3 12-hr days, too much?

Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version

Life How exhausted must one be to have super wicked visual hallucinations?
The roommate i live with has an ant problem and I find them everywhere. On my desk trying to eat my candles, sometimes on the mattress.

I picked up my sandals and put them in the overnight bag, and flipped them upside down so the bottoms wouldn't touch the clothes, and one looked CRAWLING in ants. So I popped it out and dropped it with an UGH
Well I crouched down to find out WHY it was crawling, and there are NONE on it
They couldn't ALL have dropped off from dropping it, and I couldn't see ANY on the carpet beneath it.

Running... The Wrong Way.

Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version

MilitaryI wonder if I should change the PT out of the Military category. I rather like it there though. If nothing else I'll leave it as an homage. I hated running before I started training for the Marines. It was a motivational issue. I prefer spending my energy on others, instead of myself, and training for Boot Camp somehow felt like for Others.
Even in High School I ran just fast enough to complete that mile. Just enough to pass and not be the last person. GOD I never wanted to be that last person. Especially if I was one of the only girls who could do a freaking pull up ("Come on! Just imagine Leonardo DiCaprio's on top of that bar! You're WhatsHerFace reaching up for a kiss before you sink into the Ocean!!') *Yes, I am from THAT generation.*

5k and Wilmington Beach!

Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version

LifeI'll add the pics later of course, because I'm not on my own computer and can't get to them :P

Today we woke up at 430a and drove our groggy selves down to Wilmington. Not being able to have breakfast, so you don't throw up everywhere on a run is... a humbling emperience. (It also makes breakfast taste SO MUCH BETTER when you finally get to eat it!) ...

Military Tourism: 503d MP BN

Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version

Military(Btw I will get the pix from last two days up before this posts!)

Our classroom got moved today to the 503d MP BN. Not such a big deal, classes are dry, but it gives me a lil chance to have a spot of tourism. (Yar I plan to get my Touristy Pages up asap :P) The 503d main entrace has a lil swag kickin about. The wooden chest here reminds me of something terribly SCA :)
The center wall is a memorial for fallen MPs. Very nice.

Hand to Hand, WSI Style.

Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version

MilitaryOnce again set to auto-post because I can't be trusted.

Below: Mr Massey in his High Block stance.
We did hand to hand today. First we're doing the equivelant(sp?) of SCA Youth Boffer, with a PVC-Squishy wrapped "asp" bat. I treated it as such, trying not to give too many pointers to my partner. It made me miss SCA. I really need to try to go out here.

WSI Range Etc.

Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version

MilitaryIf I forget to finish this draft it will autopost at midnight tonight :)

Qual Range today, and we all know I love posting ranges :D One thing though, most people wore their ACUs/BDUs to fire in (just damn comfy/practical.) Is it a bad thing that I smirk at the fact that I'm the only asshole with a nametape on my ass?
(For some of you: The Marines seem to be the only ones that put names on their trousers. Hell... the reason Army can't roll up their cammie sleeves is because the Marines do... OohRah!)

Pixie Bites

LifeSo today I started training for my new job. Yar, I was only with Loomis for a lil over a month but let's face it: $9.60hr at 65hrs with no OT paid, hurting my shoulder and roasting in a defunct armored van « gate guard in the heat, cold, exhaust, at $15.50.

Car Accident

Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version

LifeI haven't been lazy, I can post on my phone for creep sakes. I just haven't wantes to write since the car accident cause I didn't want to write ABOUT the accident. But, it has been a stupid while, and I did promise to keep this updated until people got bored of it. I resolve to peck at it every 2 weeks if nothing else.

Army Barracks Scandal

Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version

MilitaryIt's a hot issue right now, this "C co barracks, living conditions" thing.
http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/Blackfive/~3/281673332/bragg-barracks.html

I only just learned about it today from Shane, and only because of the backlash he's suffering due to the combined incompetance of the Army higher ups and the soldiers living in the barracks. Bad living conditions is one thing. Stuff that leads a little attention is a second thing. Daily room inspections at 0530 because someone finally realized the jerk down the hall had turned his barracks room into a cesspool of filth and desbris...

The Army still hasn't done anything about his roommate's room. The bags of trash from when he went AWOL are still in there. It smells terrible to open the door. His futon remains, with minor junk gracing it's nappy surface. We yanked the chair out of there so I have someplace to sit when I visit. Eh, they won't stick him with a roommate as long as they don't clean it, so I guess it's got it's advantages :P
