Arts & Sciences 50 by A.S.50
While I may be young in the SCA, and only starting to learn fighting, crafts, cooking, etc, this Challenge is the perfect motivation for that. The idea works one of three ways: Depth, Breadth, Persona. By Depth you create 50 items (such as pairs of shoes!), perform 50 period dances, etc. By Breadth you create or learn 50 different things, be it crafting, cooking, songs, etc. You may also write a 50 page paper on your persona, (or learn 50 things your persona would know!) Considering A.S.50 is May2015, and I started January2008, that's 7 years, at roughly 7 a year, almost 2 every 3 months! Ohemgee.
I'm using my 50 by 50 to expand my SCAdian knowledge, mostly in textiles as I do enjoy crafting. I'll be filling some space with other odds 'n ends.
090216 After breaking my right hand's fifth metacarpal at Estrella war, my crafting has been severely stunted. Eight weeks, reduced to some Cross-stitching (blackwork?) and whatever else I can mangle.
