Aye... Once there was a ship...
Evidence of a ship called The Leaky Dinghy dates back to A.S.40, C.E.2oo6, when a stow away called Julianna Wilkins boarded a small pirate vessel docked at Estrella XXII. This woman's personal logs show she was hired on under the profession "Ship's Medic." After several months it seems she rose through the ranks quickly, establishing herself as Quartermaster, and even designing the colors the small ship became known by.
With her apparently came unrest, as in those months she and the crew, with the primary help of the ship's seamstress (who's name is strangely missing) mutinied the original captain. Julianna sailed as the new Captain until a second crew upset, which left most of the crew's logs burned and only a few crew to man the ship.
A little over two years after the ship's birth, approximately March A.S.41, C.E.2008, The Leaky Dinghy and its Captain disappeared. Some evidence points to a possible duel between Julianna and the original captain (who was apparently left alive after the first mutiny, but was never heard from again after this second encounter.) Julianna herself was spotted some months later, sans crew, and it is believed she may have sunk the ship somewhere off the coast of Ireland and returned to life as a stow-away.
Julianna's personal logs show that she may have ended up as far as Atlantia, but somehow is also still sighted among the crew of the Dreamchaser, a well known ship of Atenveldt. Among these logs are a badly damaged crew roster, and a short log of an act of Commandeering committed by the crew.
...we made one. Standing three abreast [on the deck], the Captain with his rifle, I with a pistol, and DB with his war axe, we waited. When the great vehicle finally [came within range] the command rang out: "FIRE!" We let volley on the "ship", and [came beside her to] board her. As we took [measure of what was left of the crew] the Captain made his rounds and announced to the previous occupants: "You've been commandeered by the crew of The Leaky Dinghy! Please be so kind as to be surrenderin' yer valuables!" [Most] probably believed him drunk, but we had commandeered ourselves a Ship!

**Please Note: I just learned there is a Dungeons and Dragon's Tavern called "The Leaky Dinghy Tavern". We are not in any way affiliated or connected with D&D, and trust me, how we came up with the name was about as FAR from online gaming as possible, although there was some drinking involved. >.>
